Wieder sorgt Mary dafür, dass sich die Gäste auch in der Spinnaker Lounge sich stärken können, ohne dass sie die Lounge extra verlassen müssen: denn wir dürfen derzeit auf beiden Seiten nicht auf das Promenadendeck raus.



Again, Mary was taking care, that guests in the Spinnaker Lounge could fortify themselves, without leaving the lounge for that reason: since we were not allowed to enter the promenade deck on both sides of the ship.

It was again wet and cold. Nevertheless, it was worth it to go outside and to watch. There was so much beauty to discover.



Es ist wieder nass und kalt. Trotzdem lohnt es sich rauszugehen und zu gucken. Es gibt so viel Schönheit zu entdecken.

In the Seven Seas Main Dining Room, we were friendly expected by Leon Dhunca. We needed slowly to be prepared to have back our breakfast in Germany. So we ordered some bread rolls and a cold cut plate.



Im Seven Seas Hauptrestaurant werden wir von Leon Dhunca freundlich erwartet. Wir müssen uns langsam auf das Frühstück in Deutschland vorbereiten. So bestellen wir ein paar Brötchen und eine Wurstplatte.

Ich hasse eigentlich die Fotografen. Mich nerven die Ankunftsfotos mit Pinguinen, Piraten usw.. Aber ich muss meine negative Meinung zurücknehmen. Fotomanager Ferdinand Ocampo habe ich erklärt, dass ich für Bewerbungszwecke neue Bilder benötige und daher müsste ich wissen, an welchem Tag welche Leinwand aufgebaut ist. Er gibt mir sofort einen Plan, damit ich mich entsprechend anziehen kann. So kaufen wir am Ende der Reise für wirklich wenig Geld eine Serie von 20 Bildern, die sehr toll sind. Maureen hat den Volltreffer geschafft. Wenn ich das Gefühl der Selbstverliebtheit nicht kannte: sie hat von mir so ein tolles Bild gemacht, dass ich bloß nur noch "Wow" sagen konnte und obwohl nicht für eine konservative Bewerbung geeignet, hat es doch Einzug in meine Bewerbungsmappe gefunden. Réka hat für mich nach der Fahrt einen Kontakt zu Ferdinand hergestellt, so dass wir ein Bild noch nachbestellen können. Actually, I hated the photographers. The pictures when we arrived with penguins, pirates, etc. annoy me. But I needed to correct my bad impression, I had so far. I explained Photo Manager Fernand Ocampo that I would use new pictures for the job application and needed to have the schedule for the backgrounds. For 20 pictures we paid as Latitudes-Platinum Plus-Members just 140 USD. That was a good deal.



Für 20 Bilder haben wir als Latitudes-Platin Plus-Mitglieder gerade mal 140 USD bezahlt. Das hat sich wirklich gelohnt.

So kurz vor dem Ende der Kreuzfahrt entdecke ich, dass sie noch Clamato an Bord haben. Ich liebe das.



Just before the end of the cruise, I discovered, that they had Clamato onboard. I loved it.

With that, I also got always some nuts.



Dazu bekomme ich dann auch immer die Nüsse.

Wie üblich warten wir auf Réka, Matyas und Ábel von Atlantis Strings.



As usual, we were waiting for Réka, Matyas, and Ábel of Atlantis Strings.

We enjoyed our day at sea, and could escape completely, and come back new.



Wir genießen so unseren Seetag und können vollständig abtauchen und rundum erneuert nach Hause.

Später als die Sonne rauskommt, drehen wir wieder unsere Runden auf der schönsten Laufbahn der Welt.



Later, when the sun came out, we turned our rounds again on the world's most beautiful walking path.

For a change, we had nachos again for lunch.



Zur Abwechslung gibt es mittags wieder Nachos.

Und wieder vietnamesische Pho.

And Reuben as today's special. On days at sea, you could get one special of the day.



Und Reuben, als Tagesessen. An Seetagen gibt es zusätzlich noch ein besonderes Tagesessen.

Jetzt sind wir wieder im offenen Meer.



Now we were again in the open sea.

It was rocking a lot.



Es schaukelt ganz schön.

Ich frage mich schon, wer eigentlich die Programme erstellt. In der englischen Version werden auf die Tierarten hingewiesen, die man unterwegs sehen sollte. Einen Pinguin habe ich nicht gesehen. In der deutschen Version heißt es, dass die Durchfahrt durch die Fjorde sieben Stunden dauert.



I was wondering, who was responsible for the daily programme. In the English version, they listed all the species of animals, we could see on our way. I did not see one single penguin. In the German version, they mentioned that the passage would take seven hours.

Again, we went to the Four Seasons Main Dining Room for dinner. The food became less important. We enjoyed the service of the team around Eugenia and Rodalyn. Rodalyn also sang some songs for us. And it was touching how Rodalyn took care of Ekkehard, that he would get everything he needed for breakfast in his cabin and for lunch at the pool, in the Garden Café or in the Great Outdoors. Like a penguin mother! Here onboard, they only had wonderful ambassadors for NCL. Sherna also came around to check if everything was fine with us.



Wieder zum Abendessen in das Four Seasons Hauptrestaurant. Das Essen steht mittlerweile im Hintergrund. Wir genießen den Service des Team rundum Eugenia und Rodalyn. Rodalyn singt noch etwas für uns. Vor allem kümmert Rodalyn sich sehr liebevoll um Ekkerhard, dass er morgens in der Kabine und mittags am Pool, im Garden Café oder im Great Outdoors entsprechend alles bekommt, was er braucht. Wie eine Pinguin-Mutter! Hier an Bord gibt es nur tolle Botschafter für NCL. Auch kommt Sherna vorbei, um nachzuschauen, ob alles in Ordnung bei uns ist.

Wir gehen kurz in die Produktionsshow "Rock you tonight" rein.



We went for a short while into the production show "Rock you tonight".

Again we came too late. It was my mistake: I set up the dinners on days at sea too late. Since we were more than regular, the meals took longer so that we mostly came too late for the 2nd show. Should we ever go again in this group constellation, I would start the dinner on days at sea 30 minutes earlier.



Wir kommen wieder zu spät. Es war mein Fehler: an Seetagen das Abendessen so spät anzusetzen. Dadurch, dass wir sehr viel mehr sind, dauern die Essen sehr viel länger, so dass wir auch immer den Anfang der 2. Show verpassen. Sollten wir nochmals in der Konstellation fahren, würden die Abendessen an Seetagen 30 Minuten früher beginnen.

Wir bleiben nur kurz, weil es mir etwas zu laut ist. Ich werde alt.
