Seetag/Day at Sea 14 auf der/on NORWEGIAN SUN

Noch ein weiteres Mal können wir der Sonne auf hoher See beim aufgehen zusehen.



One more time we could see the sun rising on the high sea.

I enjoyed one more time the service in the Garden Café. Actually, I wanted to see the sunrise but also was hungry. Ralph Lauren Mallari Cabral saw that I was waiting nervously at the outlet. He sent me out, waited for my waffle, and delivered it to me. Time to say goodbye to Cherrylyn, and Rodalyn, and I Komang.



Ich genieße nochmals den Service im Garden Café. Ich will ja eigentlich den Sonnenaufgang sehen und ich habe Hunger. Ralph Lauren Mallari Cabral sieht, dass ich nervös am Stand warte. Er schickt mich wieder raus, wartet für mich auf meine Waffel und bringt sie mir raus. Zeit auch sich von Cherrylyn und Rodalyn und I Komang zu verabschieden.

Jeden Morgen an Seetagen um 08:00 Uhr trifft sich die chinesische Reisegruppe zum Tanzkurs in der Bliss Lounge. Die haben auf jeden Fall ihren Spaß. Schade, dass meine Eltern nicht mehr dabei sein können. Hier hätten sie viele zu gemeinsamen Gesprächen treffen können.



Every morning on a day at sea at 08:00 hrs the Chinese group met for a dance lesson in the Bliss Lounge. They had for sure a lot of fun. It was a pity that my parents could not join. Here, they would meet a lot of people to talk with.

They would offer tonight a Beatles-Tribute-Show.



Für heute wird eine Beatles-Tribut-Show angeboten.

I took my last cherries with me for my breakfast.



Meine letzten Kirschen nehme ich mit zum Frühstück.

Noch einer unserer Restaurant Hosts, die sich sehr nett um uns kümmern: Louis Basili. Irgendwie kommt er mir bekannt vor. Später finde ich es raus: NORWEGIAN SPIRIT 2013.



Another one of our restaurant hosts who took care of us very nice: Louis Basili. Somehow he looked to be familiar for me. Later, I found it out: NORWEGIAN SPIRIT 2013.

I was nasty: he was someone, it made fun to me to observe him working. He never served us, but his smile was somehow contagious: I Gede Jaya Parwata.



Ich bin fies: jemand, bei dem es mir Spaß macht, ihm bei der Arbeit zuzugucken. Er hat uns nie bedient, aber sein Lächeln, steckt irgendwie an: I Gede Jaya Parwata.

Heute bekomme ich kein chinesisches Frühstück, sondern indonesisches Frühstück: Nasi Goreng.



That morning, I did not get Chinese but Indonesian breakfast: Nasi Goreng.

It would last again for four persons... maybe I should share first with them before.



Es hätte wieder für vier Personen gereicht... Vielleicht hätte ich zunächst den Teller teilen sollen.

Im Atrium wird es auch langsam Zeit sich zu verabschieden. TingTing, Gladies und Dave haben ja für mich nicht nur bei den Bars angefragt, wer noch Clamato hat und es dann dort für mich geholt. Als gar keiner mehr an Bord war, hat David kurzerhand normalen Tomatensaft für mich gewürzt, damit er genauso gut schmeckt wie Clamato. Auch geht es zu den letzten Konzerten von Atlantis Strings mit Réka, Matyas und Ábel. Zwischendurch spielt eine andere Band: Soulmates Quartet, bei dem ein Gast am Klavier mitspielt. Ich nutze noch die Gelegenheit mich bei Guest Service Manager Claudia Condurachi nochmals für die tolle Initiative von Helen und die Unterstützung von Iulia zu bedanken.



In the atrium it was time to say goodbye. TingTing, Gladies, and Dave did not only ask other bars if they still had Clamato available and got it for me. When there was absolutely no more available, Dave got some regular tomato juice and spiced it the way it would taste like Clamato. Furthermore, we had to attend the last performances of Atlantis Strings with Réka, Matyas, and Ábel. In between another band was playing with a guest at the piano: Soulmates Quartet. I also used the chance again to thanks Guest Service Manager Claudia Condurachi for the great initiative of Helen and the support of Iulia.

The last day was just gorgeous. I used it to enjoy the sun and watching the others jogging after I completed my walk before.



Der letzte Tag ist einfach wunderschön. Ich nutze ihn, um die Sonne zu genießen, und den anderen beim Laufen zuzusehen, nach dem ich bereits zuvor selbst gelaufen bin.

Am Pooldeck wird schon für das Mittagessen alles vorbereitet. Hier gelingt mir noch ein gemeinsames Foto mit Chefkoch Paulo. Und ich bekomme noch ein besonderes Abschiedsgeschenk von Mihaela!

Wir gehen wieder in Le Bistro: Der Jazz-Brunch ist zurück! Wir haben sehr gute Erinnerungen an den Jazz-Bruch damals auf der NORWEGIAN JADE 2011 (2), NORWEGIAN SUN 2012 und NORWEGIAN SPIRIT 2013. Auch ohne Luiza bekomme ich einen Cesar's Salad, der vor meinen Augen nach meinen Wünschen hergestellt wird. Bernita und Donovan sorgen wieder für einen tollen Service. Im Hintergrund gibt es Musik von einem Solomusiker am Keyboard. Leider habe ich von ihm keinen Namen.



We headed again to Le Bistro: The Jazz-Brunch was back! We had wonderful memories from NORWEGIAN JADE 2011 (2), NORWEGIAN SUN 2012, and NORWEGIAN SPIRIT 2013. Even without Luiza, I got Cesar's Salad which was freshly prepared by individual request. In the background, they had music from a solo-musician at a keyboard. Unfortunately, I had no name from him.

Cruise Director Guido sent me the list of the songs from the "Rock you tonight" show.

Beim letzten Abendessen im Four Seasons Hauptrestaurant werden wir von Rodalyn und Eugenia sehr herzlich verabschiedet. Da Rodalyn und Christian auf dem selben Flug am nächsten Tag nach New York sind, hat Christian das Glück, das seine Betreuung durch Rodalyn erst in New York endet.



The last supper in Four Seasons Main Dining Room was the time for Rodalyn and Eugenia to say goodbye cordially to us. Since Rodayln and Christian were booked on the same flight to New York, NY on the next day, Christian had the luck, that Rodalyn would extend her care until arrival in New York.

We bid farewell with a last drink with Réka, Matyas, and Ábel for the great musical entertainment.
