Eine ungewöhnliche Woche geht zu Ende.Nach dem ich Ostern noch dachte, dass ich einen Herzinfarkt hätte, der sich zum Glück nur als Rippenblockade herausstellte, sorgten drei Ereignisse für eine schnelle Genesung...
Warum auch immer: spaßeshalber wollte ich mir die neuen "Online"-Gepäckanhänger (Bastelbogen) von P&O angucken und stellte fest, dass sie wohl falsch personalisiert haben und eine falsche Kabinennummer aufgedruckt war. Die Überprüfung unserer Dokumente war jedoch eine positive Überraschung.
An uncommon week terminated.Easter Sunday I thought I had my first heart attack but luckily it was just a blockade of a rib. But three events made a fast recovery possible.
Did not know why: just for fun I wanted to see the new P&O-"Online"-Baggage-Tags (DIY tinker sheets) and found out that they did a mistake when personilzing the baggage tags by printing a wrong stateroom number. So double checking the documents brought us a nice surprise.

A224 ist eine Deluxe Balkonkabine.Wären wir schon auf der ARTANIA, wäre es die Junior-Suite Dresden (7224 auf dem Jupiter-Deck der Kategorie S3). Auf der ARTANIA wären es also 227 EUR/Nacht... Stolzer Preis... Kann man nur gespannt sein. Zu P&O-Zeiten hätten wir für die Kabine etwa 165 EUR/Nacht ausgelegt (ohne Upgrade). Wenn jetzt wieder das Argument kommt, dass ja die Trinkgelder bei Phoenix schon inkludiert sind: soviel Trinkgeld geben wir auch nicht... und wir müssen nicht alles in Deutsch haben... aber es wäre ja Silber-Service... ob die 60 EUR/Nacht das Wert sind???
Would this ship be already ARTANIA (after her P&O-life she will be transferred to the German cruise operator Phoenix with her new name ARTANIA) it would be a Junior-Suite (7224 on Jupiter-Deck instaead of Deck A of cat. S3). It would be 227 EUR/Night... Well... Need to be curious for the transitions. We would have paid 165 EUR/Night while she was ARTEMIS (without being upgraded). Now most Phoenix-Fans will tell that the gratuities are included but we would not tip as much and we do not need a pure German ship... There would be a Silver-Service (VIP-Service) available... but is that worth 60 EUR/Night??? We backed to the right horse, better the right ship: NORWEGIAN EPIC. Bruno has unluck and need to celebrate his birthday at his workplace. Louise has luck that she can toast to Bruno onboard of INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS on behalf of me. Now we will celebrate his birthday three weeks later. We got the confirmation that we are taking part of the preview-events - and only because we are loyal guests - nothing more.
The third event was a short visit in Offenbach with the corporate office of Delphin Cruises (A 1-ship-German-cruise-operator) to double check some open items of our works outing on the party night on DELPHIN VOYAGER. A nice reception by the Group Sales Agent Mrs Bertók who gave me a lot of anticipation for the next weeks.
I do not feel too much anymore from my blockade of the rib.
Nun wir haben wohl auf das richtige Pferd gesetzt, besser das richtige Schiff: NORWEGIAN EPIC. Bruno hat nun Pech, dass er seinen Geburtstag bei der Arbeit feiern muss. Louise hat Glück, dass sie an Bord der INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS für mich auf Bruno anstoßen darf. Nun werden wir die Feier drei Wochen später nachholen. Die Bestätigung, dass wir am Premieren-Event teilnehmen dürfen ist gekommen - und nur weil wir loyale Gäste sind und nicht mehr.Das 3. Ereignis war ein kurzer Besuch in Offenbach bei Delphin Kreuzfahrten, um abschließend ein paar Punkte bezüglich des Betriebsausfluges meiner Mitarbeiter auf die Partynacht auf der DELPHIN VOYAGER zu besprechen. Ein äußerst freundlicher Empfang durch die Gruppenverkäuferin Frau Bertók, die auch meine Vorfreude weiter gesteigert hat auf die nächsten Wochen.
Von meiner Rippenblockade ist kaum noch etwas zu spüren.
