Nach dem wir schon so oft auf nagelneuen Schiffen waren (NORWEGIAN PEARL/EURODAM jeweils die 1. Reise und NORWEGIAN GEM/QUEEN VICTORIA die 3. Reise), wollten wir wissen, wie es auf einer "letzten" Fahrt ist. Am 29.10.2007 fiel die Entscheidung auf NORWEGIAN DREAM. Hiervon erzählt die Reise.NORWEGIAN DREAM kennen wir bereits vom vergangenen Jahr: Siehe hier. Eigentlich ist es nicht "unser" Schiff. Die Begeisterung eines MathiasK samt Norwegian Dream Fan Club können wir nicht teilen. Das liegt vermutlich daran, dass wir sie selbst niemals im Nord-Ostsee-Kanal erlebt haben. Bei dieser Cruise hat uns folgendes gefallen:
1. Drei Tage Daueraufenthalt auf Bermuda - kein frühes Aufstehen wegen eines gebuchten Ausfluges und dass man von Bord muss und wieder an Bord sein muss, weil das Schiff ablegt.
2. Mal gucken, wie sie sich verändert hat: positiv schon für den nächsten Eigner oder negativ...
3. Die letzte Fahrt: gibt es etwas Besonderes???
4. Endlich mal widerlegen, dass ich es nicht länger als zwei Nächte bei NCL aushalte...

After we were so often on brand-new ships (1st voyage on NORWEGIAN PEARL/EURODAM, 3rd voyage on NORWEGIAN GEM/QUEEN VICTORIA), we wanted to know how it is on a "last" voyage. On Oct 29, 2007 we made the decision for NORWEGIAN DREAM. This is the story behind. Normally I only blog in German. The English part is dedicated to BamaGal53 (aka Kathy) from cruisecritic.com, who had to cancel her participation to this cruise. This blog should give her a chance to join us although she cannot be with us onboard of NORWEGIAN DREAM: Enjoy, dear Kathy and be with us on our way to and around Bermuda.
We know NORWEGIAN from last year: Look here. It's not "our" ship. We cannot share the enthousiasm of MathiasK incl. his Norwegian Dream Fan Club. It's because we never experienced her ourselves in the Kiel-Canal. But with our cruise we like:
1. Three days contineous stay on Bermuda - no early wake-up because of a booked shore excursion und that you need to get ashore and back onboard before sailing.
2. Let's see what has changed: goods for the next owner or bad...
3. The final sailing: any specials onboard???
4. Finally to check if I really cannot stay longer than two days on an NCL-ship...
