In Grand Pacific we had a great sursprise: Adina whom we know from NORWEGIAN DREAM and Luiza, whom we know from NORWEGIAN SPIRIT and NORWEGIAN JADE (sorry - only in German available) welcomed us. I am more than happy. Luiza promised that it works with my salad this time which she owes me for two years. I laughed and hope that she will not keeping her promise as I will have good reason to search again for her. Unfortunately we also learned that Ramono whom we know from NORWEGIAN JEWEL (sorry - only in German) and NORWEGIAN DREAM had a very severe car accident on the way to the airport for her work on NORWEGIAN GEM. Now she has her rehabilitation. In case she has an occassion to read these lines: All the best wishes for a soon recovery from Bruno and me!!! One more reason to again with NCL and to check how good she is and let her pamper us. Some additional explaination to Luiza: I met her on a 1-Nighter on NORWEGIAN SPIRIT and I had a very late dinner at Cagney's Steakhouse. I love to observe attentive crew members who have their eyes everywhere and before you can raise your hand to call a waiter she is already there to read your wishes from your eyes. She has a view when something was not alright and was wondering why I did not like my Ceasars Salad. Her offer was to make a new one just for me as I like. As I did not want any salad anymore she let me go after the promise that she will get a chance to prepare a salad for. At this time she was Assistent Maître D'. We met her again on our last year's NORWEGIAN JADE-cruise in the Med Sea. Now she was Maître D' and she is really one who deserved it. It could be the sailing of the TITANIC: be sure she (and her complete team) will make sure that you will get the very best service until the end.

Ich hatte wieder meine Blätterteigpastete mit Käse und Pilzen. Aber man merkt, dass wohl Personal für die Feinarbeit fehlt, damit es richtig nett aussieht.

My "wife" had fish... (It's a joke for the German forum reader: one other blogger's wife had always fish and it was good... on MSC... our preferred line for doing diet as you can loose 3 lbs. on 11 nights and learn how to appreciate the service with NCL if you get be treated like with them.

ReplyDeletehabe mich schon lange nicht mehr so wohl gefühlt wie beim Lesen Deines Blogs. Da fühlte ich mich wieder so richtig heimisch an Bord der NCL GEM. Jan war ja vom 1. bis 8,11. vor euch an Bord. Mit mir und Karin war er bereits vom 31. Mai bis 7. Juni an Bord und wurde von einigen dienstbaren Geistern sehr, sehr herzlich willkommen geheissen.
Karin, Jan und ich wünschen euch ausserordenliche Tage an Bord der GEM. Grüßt mir die Crew aus dem Cagney´s, dem Bistro und dem "Italiener". Wir beneiden euch sehr.
Und freuen uns auf de nächsten Erlebnisberichte.
