Tag/Day 5.2 nach der/after NORWEGIAN EPIC in England

Nach dem wir uns von Shirley und Godfrey verabschiedet haben, fahren wir nochmals kurz zur Marina, um mal zu gucken, ob die NORWEGIAN EPIC immer noch da ist, oder ob sich die Pläne vielleicht geändert haben, und sie schon weg ist. Nein - sie ist noch da!



After we said good-bye to Shirley and Godfrey we went again to the marina to check if NORWEGIAN EPIC was still there or if her schedule has changed again and she left already. No - she still was there.

Should we go again with the ferry to take better pictures of CROWN PRINCESS??? We let it because we had some commitments and wanted to see something from England. Does anyone know which ship is right of CROWN PRINCESS??? Looked a little Cunard-style.



Sollen wir jetzt nochmals mit der Fähre fahren, um bessere Bilder von der CROWN PRINCESS aufnehmen zu können??? Wir lassen es, weil wir noch etwas zu tun haben und noch etwas von England sehen wollten. Weiss jemand, welches Schiff rechts neben der CROWN PRINCESS liegt??? Es wirkt ein bisschen Cunard-mäßig.

Wir fahren zu Carnival UK - ganz schön unverschämt, dass NORWEGIAN EPIC direkt davor parkt.



We drove to Carnival UK - very outrageous that NORWEGIAN EPIC just parked in front of them.











Here we returned Bruno's check which we cannot put on Bruno's account in Germany. It was the missing shareholder OBC which was missed on our ARTEMIS-voyage, which was not booked on our account because we should have cancelled our cruise. But we just could not on the ship because of the vulcano ash so that we embarked later in Zeebrugge.



Hier geben wir Brunos Scheck ab, den wir nicht vernünftig in Deutschland einlösen können. Es war das fehlende Bordguthaben als Aktionär auf unserer ARTEMIS-Reise, das uns nicht ausgezahlt wurde, weil wir angeblich die Reise storniert hätten. Dabei konnten wir bloß wegen der Vulkanasche erst später in Zeebrugge zusteigen.

Leider kommt er auch als Aktionär und somit Miteigentümer dieses Gebäudes (Irgendeine Schraube wird ihm schon gehören) nicht auf den Dachgarten, damit wir ein paar schöne Bilder von der NORWEGIAN EPIC machen können. Nur für Mitarbeiter.



Unfortunately he was not allowed as shareholder and co-owner of this building (one screw must be his property) to go on the roof garden to take some great pictures of NORWEGIAN EPIC. Only for staff members.

We went to the next building which was the parking garage of IKEA and took the pictures from there.



Wir gehen kurzerhand nebenan zum IKEA-Parkhaus und nehmen die Bilder von dort auf.

Wie schön könnte der Blick sein, wenn nicht all die Gebäude hier stehen würden...



How nice could it be from here without all the buildings in between.

Was there not enough money for the new logo???



Hat das Geld eigentlich für das neue Logo nicht mehr gereicht???

Sind es schon Passagiere auf den Balkons des Courtyards oder immer noch Handwerker???



Were there already passengers on the balconies of the Courtyard or still workers???

But the upper body structure followed an old NCL-Tradition like you can see here:



Eigentlich folgt dieser Aufbau einer alten NCL-Tradition, wie man sieht.

Damals die NORWEGIAN CROWN.

The blue colour outside on the top of the Courtyard area followed the construction line of a classical cruise ship.



Die blaue Farbe außen oben auf dem Courtyard folgt der Konstruktionslinie eines klassischen Kreuzfahrtschiffes.

Sind die offenen Fenster vorne im Courtyard von Kabinen oder öffentlichen Räumen???



Are the open windows in the front of the Courtyard in cabins or in public rooms???

On the promenade deck that was the only section you had a free view.



In der Außenpromenade ist das der einzige Abschnitt, von dem man eine freie Sicht hat.

Und hier oben war das die einzige Möglichkeit direkt an der Railing zu stehen.



And here at the top it was the only possibility to stand at the railing.

There was no possibility at the aft either to stand at the railing and see the horizon.



Auch am Heck gibt es keine Möglichkeiten an einer Railing zu stehen und den Horizont zu gucken.

Nun heißt es auch Abschied zu nehmen, die den Blog nur wegen der Bilder der NORWEGIAN EPIC lesen. Da wir Southampton verlassen, gibt es keine weiteren Bilder mehr von der NORWEGIAN EPIC. Es gibt weitere Schiffsbilder und Themen wie Pre-/Post-Cruise-Aufenthalte sowie Ausflüge.
