Da wir ja weniger Wäsche eingepackt haben, müssen wir den Wäschedienst in Anspruch nehmen. Da eine Socke "Selbstmord" beging, gibt es nur 6 1/2 Paar Socken...



As we took less clothes with us we need to use the laundry service. One sock did "suicide" so we had only 6 1/2 pairs...

Bruno enjoyed it very much on the balcony. I was taking a nap while the door was open. It was so warm and pleasant - so a perfect way to relax a little.



Bruno genießt es auf dem Balkon. Ich selbst döse auf dem Bett bei offener Balkontür. Es ist so schön warm und angenehm, um einfach ein wenig zu entspannen.

That was our steward: Isagani Camunggol jr.. And he is one of the best. When you check his Facebook page you could see a picture how Captain Kim Karlsson awarded him on NORWEGIAN JADE. Later when I told tim that we knew Captain Kim Karlsson and NORWEGIAN JADE he only said that he remembered us, our parents and Charly and Katie somehow. He was not our steward but could remember us walking around the ship.



Das ist unser Steward: Isagani Camunggol jr.. Und er ist einer der Besten. Auf seiner Facebook-Seite ist ein Bild, wie er von Captain Kim Karlsson auf der NORWEGIAN JADE ausgezeichnet wird. Später als ich ihn darauf anspreche, dass wir auch Captain Kim Karlsson und die NORWEGIAN JADE kennen, meinte er, dass er uns, unsere Eltern und Karl-Heinz und Käthe auch schon bekannt vorkam. Er war zwar nicht unser Steward, sah uns jedoch über das Schiff laufen und hat uns daher wiedererkannt.

Wir kaufen sofort das Einschiffungs-Bild, weil man jetzt kostenlos die Landkarte hinzubekommt und weil das Bild echt gut ist.



We bought immediately the embarkation picture as you could free of charge the map of our itinerary and because the picture was really good.

Instead of 10 minutes only as bonus for Latitudes Platinum which I got last time, I received 30 free minutes.



Statt nur zuletzt 10 Minuten bekomme ich erstaunlicherweise 30 Minuten für meine Latitudes-Platin-Mitgliedschaft hinzu.

Und gegen Nachweis, dass mir auf Facebook NCL gefällt und ich auch bereits von der laufenden Reise schon Beiträge veröffentlicht habe, bekomme ich nochmals 15 Minuten hinzu.



And against presentation of my "like" and my current postings on NCL's Facebook page I got additional 15 minutes for free.

We went for lunch... still the same menu... unchanged...



Wir gehen zum Mittagessen... Immer noch die gleiche Speisekarte... Unverändert...







The chicken broth was very good again.

At 13.00 hrs we were expected at the Latitudes Party.

Und Hotel Director Les guckt überall vorbei.

And we had some canapés.







Alle warten auf ihren Auftritt.



Everyone was waiting for the presentation.

And then Captain Vanja walked on the stage.



Und dann geht Captain Vanja auf die Bühne.







And then Captain Vanja congratulated Bar Manager Geanina for her birthday and asked all guests to sing for her special occassion.



Und dann hat Captain Vanja Bar Manager Geanina zum Geburtstag gratuliert und alle aufgefordert ihr zum Geburtstag ein Ständchen zu bringen.











We were surprised that no names were printed on the invitations and nobody collected the invitations at the entrance. Nowadays you had no bigger chance anymore to win something. We did not like so much the new style. For the future I know that you need to check under the tables first before you sit down. Only if there is an envelope you have a chance to win something. The old version that everyone has a chance to be drawn and win, was much better better and more fair. As we had no envelope we moved away as the time was too valuable to stay any longer.



Wir hatten uns schon gewundert, dass keine Namen wie bisher auf den Einladungen eingedruckt waren, die hinterher eingesammelt worden. Heute gibt es kaum noch etwas zu gewinnen. Uns gefällt die neue Form nicht so. In Zukunft weiss ich, dass man unter die Tische gucken muss, bevor man sich hinsetzt. Nur wenn dort ein Briefumschlag ist, dann kann man etwas gewinnen. Das alte Prinzip, dass jeder gezogen und gewinnen konnte, fand ich besser. Da ich keinen Umschlag habe, gehe ich kurzerhand, weil die Zeit zu schade dafür ist, um hier länger zu bleiben.
