Es geht noch zu einem Aussichtspunkt in Messina. Trotz Google Earth und anderer Tools: bis jetzt habe ich nicht herausbekommen, wo ich überhaupt bin. Mit Hilfe von Antonio haben wir es später herausbekommen. Offiziell heißt es Istituto Per Sordomuti Annibale Maria Di Francia, wobei jeder bloß Cristo Re dazu sagt.
We further went to a nice outlook point in Messina. Even with Google Earth and other tools: until now I have no idea how the place called where we have been. With the help of Antonio we found it out later. Officially it is called Istituto Per Sordomuti Annibale Maria Di Francia but everybody says Cristo Re only.You can see here nicely the Strait of Messina.
Man kann von hier aus schön die Straße von Messina sehen.Die kürzeste Distanz zwischen Kalabrien und Sizilien beträgt 4 km.

Bruno wurde mal wieder auf den Turm geschickt, falls sich da bessere Bilder vom Schiff machen lassen sollten.

Antonio released us few yards before we reached the port gate and said that this would be one of the best places to have true authentic Italian ice-cream. It was great with Antonio. Grazie mille e arriverderci.
Antonio setzt uns wenige Meter vor dem Hafentor ab und meint, dass das hier einer der besten Plätze ist, um authentisches italienisches Eis zu essen. Es war großartig mit Antonio. Grazie mille e arriverderci.Bruno meint, dass er noch nie so ein gutes Amarena-Kirscheis gegessen hätte. Zum Vergleich gab es zwei Tage später in Rom ein Eis: Kein Vergleich hierzu.
Bruno said that he never has had a better amarena-cherry ice-cream before. Two days later they tried an ice-cream in Rome but that was nothing compared to this one.
My father liked it. I like it. Although it was a little too much before lunch.
Mein Vater mochte es auf jeden Fall. Ich auch. Auch wenn es vor dem Mittagessen ein wenig viel war.Das Nutellaeis habe ich nicht probiert. Aber vielleicht beim nächsten Mal.
I did not try the Nutella ice-cream but maybe next time.We walked back to the ship. In theory we could also go by tram for one stop.
Wir laufen bis zum Schiff zurück. Wir könnten theoretisch noch eine Haltestelle mit der Straßenbahn fahren.Für unsere Tour haben wir genauso viel bezahlt, wie hier vorgeschlagen. Nur hatten wir mehr Zeit als hier angegeben. Insgesamt eine schöne Tour.
We paid for our tour exactly as displayed here. But we had much more time for our beautiful tour than indicated.
