Nein - wir sind nicht am Park Güell. Auch dort gibt es eine Rolltreppe, die dorthin führt.



No - we were not a Park Güell. There is an escelator as well to get to this place.

We were at MNAC, the National Catalan Museum of Art.



Wir sind am MNAC, das Nationale Katalanische Kunstmuseum.

Sogar die Thyssen-Sammlung ist hier untergebracht... Wir sollten beim nächsten Aufenthalt Zeit hierfür einplanen.



Even the collection of Thyssen was part of their exhibition... We should add some time for our next stay.





It was very nice from outside...

We just wanted to use quickly the toilets. They were free of charge and clean but you need to pass a security check.



Wir wollten aber nur schnell die Toiletten aufsuchen. Die sind kostenlos und schön sauber, aber man muss durch eine Sicherheitskontrolle.

Vor dem MNAC gibt es ein Café.



In front of the MNAC there is a coffee shop.

And Bruno very happy to get his first Cortado after the cruise.



Und Bruno ganz glücklich über seinen ersten Cortado nach der Kreuzfahrt.

Wieder eine Adresse, die wir unbedingt aufsuchen müssen, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Barcelona sind: El Magnifico.

Just nice from here above.

With all surcharges (baggage, port, airport) we made it to this amount for more than two hours. That was much more cheaper than to use the baggage transfer service or to book an NCL-tour to the airport. We were most flexible and did not need to wait the whole time at the airport terminal.



Mit allen Zuschlägen (Gepäck, Hafen, Flughafen), kommen wir für über zwei Stunden auf die Summe. Das ist für uns günstiger als der Gepäcktransferdienst oder die NCL-Tour zum Flughafen. Wir waren so äußerst flexibel und mussten nicht die ganze Zeit im Flughafen-Terminal verbringen.

Das ist übrigens unsere Fahrerin Eva, die auch gut English spricht. Sie kann uns auch Fahrten nach Figueres, Sitges, Montserrat anbieten. Sie arbeitet für CityTaxi. Das ist wichtig, wenn man am Wochenende fahren will, und nur jedes 2. Taxi unterwegs sein darf und man Alternativen braucht. Am besten bucht man sie unter taxifrombcn@yahoo.es (z. H. Eva Gonzalez Otero). Wir werden sie bestimmt gerne wieder buchen.



By the way that was our driver Eva who also speaks good English. For the next time she can also offer tours to Figueres, Sitges, Montserrat. She works for CityTaxi. That is important if you need a taxi on the weekend when only every 2nd taxi is allowed to run and you need an alternative. Best would be to book by mailing to taxifrombcn@yahoo.es (for the attention of Eva Gonzalez Otero). We will keep the records and book her again.

Our flight to Frankfurt is 12.30 hrs. We arrived at the terminal at 11.36 hrs.



Um 12.30 Uhr geht unser Flug nach Frankfurt. Um 11.36 Uhr kommen wir am Terminal an.

In wenigen Schritten geht es vom Check-in zu den Ausgängen.

Around this time it was quite empty at the security check.



Um die Zeit ist es ziemlich leer an der Sicherheitskontrolle.

Schengen nach unten A, B, C und Nicht-Schengen D, E nach oben.



Schengen downstairs to A, B, C and Extra-Schengen D, E stay above.

But all the nice stores are downstairs. So if you have plenty of time you can first go shopping before passing the immigration for D, E.



Die schönen Geschäfte sind alle hier unten. Falls man noch viel Zeit hat, kann man erst unten einkaufen gehen, before man durch die Passkontrolle für D, E läuft.

Aber viel Zeit zum Bummeln bleibt uns nicht.



But we had not so much time to do some shopping.

It was 11.45 hrs when we reached the transit hall.



Wir sind bereits um 11.45 Uhr in der Transithalle.

So haben wir noch etwas Zeit, um ein letztes Mal in die Lounge zu gehen.



So we had a very little time to see the lounge.

Starting in March I am no more Lufthansa Senator...



Ab März bin ich ja leider kein Lufthansa Senator mehr...

und dann gibt es auch keine Croissants mehr...

At 12.30 hrs our flight left on time.



Um 12.30 Uhr geht unser Flieger pünktlich los.

Im Flugzeug können wir uns umsetzen und haben in einer Notausgangsreihe mehr Beinfreiheit.



We could move within the flight and got some seats in the exit row with more leg room.

Auf Nachfrage, erhalten wir ein Restbrötchen (sehr gut) vom Morgenflug.



On Request we got a left-over-roll (very good) from the morning flight.

We will contact Lufthansa and tell them how nice this flight attendant was to get us some rolls.



Wir werden auch Lufthansa anschreiben, dass die Flugbereiterin so nett war, uns ein Brötchen zu besorgen.

Gespannt sind wir, ob dieses Jahr Fraport das Problem mit der Preiserhöhung auf den alten Parktickets gelöst hat. Aber wir müssen später nichts nachzahlen.



Since we had problems last year with the parking at Frankfurt airport we were curious if they could handle this year old tickets released before price adjustment. But later we must not add anything.

No more connecting flight. We were home in Frankfurt.



Zum Glück müssen wir nicht zu einem Anschlussflug. Hier in Frankfurt ist Schluss.

Nur 5 Minuten Wartezeit... Das ist gut!!!

Everything complete... a perfect cruise was brought to the end... What a pity.
