Unfortunately no further ship in port... If you need to find the ISAP-(Metro)-Line 1 you need to walk to the left along side the water...



Leider kein weiteres Schiff im Hafen... Wenn man zur ISAP-(Metro)-Linie 1 will... einfach nach links immer am Wasser lang...

Und weiter am Wasser lang...

Just straight on... left water - right shore until you reach the high building...



Immer weiter... links Wasser, rechts Land bis zum Hochhaus...

Auf der anderen Seite sind die aufgelegten Kreuzfahrtschiffe.

Ein Duty Free Shop...

You should grab such a map before you leave the customs hall.



Den Plan sollte man unbedingt einstecken, bevor man die Zollhalle verlässt.

Draußen gibt es jetzt ein paar schöne Geschäfte.



Outside there are few very nice shops.





We got some Euro at the ATM.



Am Geldautomaten versorgen wir uns mit Euro.

Am Taxistand haben sie das Schild mit den Preisen zur Orientierung abmontiert.



At the taxi stand they took away the prices for orientation.

For orientation we walked the way from the SAP-(Metro)-Station back to the ship... In front of the station few street dealers...



Wir gehen mal als Orientierung den Weg vom ISAP-(Metro)-Bahnhof zurück zum Schiff... Vor dem Bahnhof gibt es ein paar Straßenhändler...

Der Bahnhof liegt auf der Höhe von Hafenzufahrt E6. Das Cruise Terminal bei E12.



The station is just adjustent to port access E6. The cruise Terminal is around E12.

All you need to do is to walk towards E12.



So muss man einfach Richtung E12 laufen.

Wir bleiben jedoch auf der Landseite, weil wir hoffen, dass ein Mobilfunkgeschäft geöffnet hat. Dort hinten liegt die NORWEGIAN JADE. In etwas 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuß dort. Übrigens Familien mit kleinen Kindern sollten besser auf der Wasserseite bleiben, da in Straßen z. T. Geschäfte aus dem Rotlichtmilieu sich befinden... Aber wie hieß es schon in dem alten Film: Sonntags nie!



By the way: families with children should better stay on the waterside as neighbouring streets are partly occupied by red-light-district business... But as you remember the movie: Never on Sunday!

You could also get by bus from the ship to here... That was how a typical Greek busstop looks like...



Vom Schiff kommt man auch mit dem Bus hierher... So sieht eine typische griechische Bushaltestelle aus...

Wie gesagt: ISAP-(Metro)-Bahnhof E6 und Cruise Terminal E12. Man kann nichts falsch machen.

This day was public holiday and therefore very calm on the streets. We found a mobile phone shop which was open but they cannot activate the SIM-card on this public holiday.



Heute ist Feiertag, deswegen ist es so ruhig auf der Straße. Wir finden ein Mobilfunkladen, der tatsächlich geöffnet hat, aber leider kann die SIM-Karte heute nicht aktiviert werden.

In der Nähe unseres Cruise Terminals gibt es eine Hertz-Station... allerdings sind nicht alle Straßenschilder zweisprachig...



Close to the cruise terminal you find a Hertz-location... but not all signposts are bilingual...

Who likes to go by bus... Here he stops around the cruise terminal and you can take all these routes.



Wer mit dem Bus fahren will... Hier hält er auf der Höhe des Cruise Terminals und diese Linien können alle genommen werden.

Direkt bei der Bushaltestelle in der Seitenstraße ist auch ein kleines Café, das kostenlos WLAN anbietet.



Directly at the bus stop in a side street there is a little coffee shop which offered complimentary WiFi.

You see our ship just opposite of the ship.



Gegenüber vom Café sieht man auch unser Schiff.

Danach einfach gegenüber über den Parkplatz laufen und schon ist man wieder am Schiff...



So you walk opposite over the parking and then you are right back on the ship...

It was a shame that had to be so early back on board. By the way the WiFi-network at the cruise terminal works quite well. It is free of charge. All you need is to insert a password which you get on screen. Works if you do have a firewall on your computer...



Schade bloß, dass wir wieder so früh an Bord müssen. Übrigens funktioniert auch das WLAN-Netz am Cruise Terminal sehr gut. Es ist kostenlos. Man muss nur ein Passwort eingeben, dass am Bildschrirm angezeigt wird. Das funktioniert, wenn man keine Firewall hat...
