Eigentlich habe ich ja gedacht, dass die MSC bei den Containern stehen müsste. Passt ja eigentlich zu MSC wegen der Historie der Muttergesellschaft.

Rechts oben in der Ecke war mal unsere Kabine auf dem Schwesternschiff MSC FANTASIA 2009.

Ach ja, damals noch...

War auch immer Party im Treppenhaus, durch die Leute, die am Rauchen und Telefonieren waren...

But we urgently need to go with her... We had too good food here so we need to loss again 3 lbs... Our breakfast was not very spectacular but that we had all the restaurant just for us.



Eigentlich müssten wir dringendst mal wieder mitfahren... Wir essen hier so gut, dass wir mal wieder 1,5 kg abnehmen müssten... Unser Frühstück war unspektakulär, außer dass wir das Restaurant ganz für uns hatten.

Unsere Wäsche kommt zurück.

Und obwohl wir schon so oft mitgefahren sind: unser Schiff begeistert mich immer wieder.

Wir haben unsere Tour eigentlich für 10.00 Uhr bestellt, weil wir der großen Masse entgehen wollten. Aber gegen 09.00 Uhr sieht der Kai bereits wieder vereinsamt aus.

Drei Fahrzeuge stehen noch da. Einer davon ist mit HeinBloed gekennzeichnet.

Als wir kommen wird wohl gerade im Wagen noch gefrühstückt... Aber im Gegensatz zur Türkei gibt es hier nur japanisch oder koreanische Autos mit deren entsprechendem Komfort. Das ganze erinnert mich ein wenig an die DELPHIN VOYAGER, die ja auch in Japan gebaut wurde.



When we came they still had breakfast in the vehicle... But compared to Turkey they had here only Japanese or Korean cars with their typical comfort. Reminded me very much to DELPHIN VOYAGER which was also build in Japan.

We were lucky that we were only 4. I did not know if I really would like to sit more in the rear.



Zum Glück sind wir nur zu viert. Ich weiss nicht, ob ich so gerne noch weiter hinten gesessen hätte.

Unser Führer Foaud stellt sich vor. Im Gegensatz zum letzten Unternehmen, das wir gebucht haben, gibt es keinen Repräsentanten des Tourveranstalters, der die ganze Zeit mitfährt. Dieses Mal haben wir die Tour bei Ramses Tours gebucht. Die Buchung klappte gut. Man musste im Gegensatz zu der Tour auf der MSC MUSICA 2007 nichts anzahlen und nicht vorab Faxkopien der Kreditkarte schicken oder mit der Tour Kopien der Kreditkarte und des Reisepasses. Man sollte erst dann zahlen, wenn man zufrieden war und für den Fall, dass man aus einem Grund nicht rechtzeitig das Schiff erreicht, geben sie einem eine Garantie, dass sie für Unterkunft und Weiterreise sorgen. Fand ich ausgesprochen sympathisch.



Our guide Faoud introduced himself. There was no representative of the tour operator what we had when we were in Alexandria on MSC MUSICA 2007. Damit Käthe und Karl-Heinz sich nicht nach hinten durchzwingen müssen, überlassen wir ihnen die vorderen Einzelsitze, aber mit mehr als vier hätte ich nur ungern diese Tour gemacht, obwohl das Fahrzeug noch mehr Personen aufgenommen hätte.

Nach der Hafenbrücke tauchen wir in eine andere Welt ein. Straßenverkehrsgesetze scheint es in Ägypten nicht zu geben...

Als Straßenbahnfan bin ich erstaunt, 6-Achser zu sehen, die in Düsseldorf oder Krefeld-Uerdingen hergestellt wurden...



As I am a fan of tramways I was surprised to see 6-axle-trams made in Germany...

It was so warm in Alexandria that you could find flies. We in Europe have not seen any for monthes.



Es war so warm in Alexandria, dass sogar noch Fliegen unterwegs waren. Wir Europäer haben ja schon seit Monaten keine mehr gesehen...
