Ich habe mir ja mitlerweile angewöhnt, den Shirley Temple zu trinken.
Frances need to know what a Shirley Temple was and ordered some.
Frances wollte unbedingt was das ist, und bestellt sich auch einen. Sad that the Captain did not make it to our table. I really would like to ask him something. But I prepared a letter with my request, and so I could send him my question.
Schade, dass der Kapitän nicht an unseren Tisch mehr es geschafft hat. Ich hätte ihn doch noch etwas gerne gefragt. Zum Glück hatte ich einen Brief vorbereitet und darin meine Frage gestellt.Da wir gleich essen, habe ich auf die Canapés verzichtet.
As we were on the way for dinner I did not take any canapé.Hmm... maybe the ship took the wrong way? Regional specialty was a Wiener Schnitzel (Escallop Viennese Style). Were we really on the road toward Norway or just on the river Danube Vienna-bound?
Hmm... hat sich das Schiff verfahren? Regionale Spezialität Wiener Schnitzel. Sind wir wirklich auf dem Weg nach Bergen, Norwegen oder sind wir gerade auf der Donau?Bei der Black Bean Soup kann man doch gar nichts falsch machen. Ich hatte wohl mittags die falsche Karte bekommen. So konnte ich nicht testen, ob nun der Chef ein Extra-Süppchen kocht.
With the Black Bean Soup there was nothing you can make wrong. I got the wrong menu during my lunch. So I could not test the other soup they would prepare for us.My emergency plan would not work for tonight. Already that night was no Rib-Eye-Steak available in our restaurant.
Und mein Notfallplan funktioniert nicht. Denn schon heute steht mein Rib-Eye-Steak nicht mehr auf der Karte.Abends gibt es Brot automatisch. Mittags nur noch auf Anfrage.

Wir erleben wieder den Service, den wir von NCL her gewohnt sind: I Made Wira Santosa.
We experienced again a service which we knew from NCL before: I Made Wira Santosa.By the way: Bon and Frances wanted to eat a little together. Bon asked her deputy Ana Maria to join, and Frances asked us to participate. So to our surprise, we could already attend a Double-Hosted-Table before we might have the Hosted Table.
Übrigens: Bon und Frances wollten eine Kleinigkeit zusammen essen. Bon hat ihre Vertreterin Ana Maria und Frances hatte uns mitgenommen. So kommen überraschend zu einem Double-Hosted-Table vor dem Hosted-Table.
Ohh... hmm... as true Schnitzel-lover I would say they need to work with the bread crumbs. But Christian is Austrian. He should tell them that they need to beat the veal meat until you can read the newspaper under the meat and then use flour, egg and old rolls crumb...
Also hmmm... als echter Schnitzelbekenner, würde ich sagen, dass sie noch an der Panade etwas arbeiten müssen. Aber Christian ist doch Österreicher. Der müsste denen doch zeigen können, dass man das Kalbfleisch so lange klopft, bis man darunter die Zeitung lesen kann. Anschließend Mehl, Ei und dann Paniermehl...
No problem to get an Espresso Macchiato.
Ein Espresso Macchiato stellt kein Problem dar.
Und damit wäre auch der 2. Tag an Bord zu Ende. Und das in sehr netter Gesellschaft.
