Den Wagen geben wir am Ocean Terminal in Greenock zurück. Hier erwarten uns Tipps, was wir hier machen sollen.

We returned the car at the Ocean Terminal in Greenock. Here we got tips what we should do here.

Just next to us the first known face was greeting us: our host with the Hosted Dinner: Candace Bacon.

Direkt neben uns, begrüßt uns bereits das erste bekannte Gesicht: Candace Bacon, unsere Gastgeberin vom Hosted Dinner.

Wir können den Wagen hier auf den Parkplatz abstellen und den Schlüssel bei der Security abgeben und nur noch wenige Meter sind es bis zum Schiff.

We could park here the car and return the keys to the security and only a few more yards to the ship to walk.

Since our very first cruise out of Greenock, a lot has changed.

Es hat sich einiges in Greenock getan seit unserer allerersten Kreuzfahrt ab Greenock.

When we arrived in our cabin we were surprised to find some dirt. I had the impression that they did something with our balcony door. For a few hours (while the ship did not move and was in port) it was effortless to open and close the door. And then (after the engines were turned on) it jammed again.

Als wir in die Kabine kommen, sind wir über Dreckspuren erstaunt. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass sie versucht hatten, an der Balkontür etwas zu tun. Für ein paar Stunden (solange das Schiff ruhig im Hafen lag) konnte man sie nämlich ganz einfach auf und zu machen. Und dann (als der Motor wieder angeworfen wurde) klemmte sie wie immer.

Einmal wurden die Canapés entsorgt.

One of the Canapé-Greetings came from our concierge David. He later came also personally to check if we made it right back on board.

Einer der Canapé-Grüße kam von unserem Concierge David. Er kam später auch persönlich vorbei, um zu sehen, ob wir es wieder rechtzeitig an Bord geschafft haben.

It was excellent again in Scottland... Bye-bye! It was so sad that we missed the pipe players who played on the other side of the ship. But I got notice of them because Barbara put a video to Facebook.

War mal wieder in schön in Schottland... Bye-bye! Schade bloß, dass wir von den Dudelsack-Spielern nichts mitbekommen haben, die auf der anderen Seite spielten. Zum Glück hatte Barbara ein Video in Facebook eingestellt.

Es war dann auch wieder schön, sich abends im Restaurant verwöhnen zu lassen. Es gab "Kröte im Loch" als regionale Spezialität.
