Tag/Day 2.1 auf der/on NORWEGIAN EPIC in Barcelona, Spain

Natürlich war der Kapitän viel zu früh in Barcelona...



Of course the Captain arrived too early in Barcelona...







Nun war ich aber bitter enttäuscht: er dreht das Schiff vor dem Anlegen und ich kann jetzt von meinem Balkon nicht mehr die einlaufende Schiffe sehen. Schade, um die RYNDAM, die ich zu gerne fotografiert hätte. Wegen der GRAND HOLIDAY und MSC SPLENDIDA ist es nicht weiter schlimm. Die haben wir zuletzt in Civitavecchia, La Goulette bzw. Alexandria fotografiert.



Now I was really disappointed: he turned the ship around before he docked and I cannot see anymore arriving ships from my balcony. I was sad because of RYNDAM which I really would like to take few shots on. It was not bad because of GRAND HOLIDAY or MSC SPLENDIDA. We had many pictures of them from Civitavecchia, La Goulette or Alexandria.

NOORDAM stayed overnight in Barcelona. Did the Captain switch on all lights just for me?

At the aft they showed all the time an endless-loop.



Und hinten am Heck läuft die ganze Zeit die Endlos-Schleife.

Bald werden auch schon die ersten Gäste von Bord gelassen.



Soon they let the first guests from the ship.

Our bill arrived.



Unsere Rechung ist gekommen.

Zu unserer großen Überraschung: wir kommen mit einem Plus aus! Auszahlen können sie es nicht. Weder dem Purser noch mir gelingt es, alles nachzuvollziehen. Es wird aber schon seine Richtigkeit haben. Wir sollen im Fotoladen uns noch etwas aussuchen. Die DVD könnte das einzige sein, was wir brauchen, aber nun sind wir in Barcelona und es müssen noch 21% MWSt. drauf gezahlt werden. Und so rutsche ich wieder ins Minus.



We experienced a big surprise: we had a plus in our balance to our favour! But they could not refund. Neither the purser nor me were able to understand what happened. But she said it should be all correct. We should pick something from the photo shop. The only thing we need might be the DVD. But we were in Barcelona and so we had to pay 21% tax on the top. So I was back again in Minus to NCL's favour.

Übrigens endlich mal eine Ablage, wo meine elektrische Zahnbürste gut hinpasst.



By the way: a good place to store my electric tooth brush. It fits there.

What we hate on NORWEGIAN EPIC: In the entrance area of the cabins you had the clean zone and the dirty zone.



Und das was wir hassen an der NORWEGIAN EPIC: Im Eingangsbereich der Kabinen kreuzen sich Reinzone und Dreckzone.

Auch wenn man keine Details erkennen kann: Das ist die blödeste Konstruktion, die sich NCL ausgedacht hat. Ich hoffe, dass es auf der NORWEGIAN BREAKAWAY wieder vernünftig getrennte Badezimmerbereiche gibt.



Even you cannot identify any details: This is the most stupid construction NCL ever has invented. I truly hope that they will have well organized seperated bathrooms on NORWEGIAN BREAKAWAY.

It must be woman who does not shave (at least not in the facial area...): you cannot close the mirror once you have connected your shaver with electric power to see you. If you step to the right you block the aisle.



Das muss eine Frau designed haben, die sich nicht rasiert... (oder nur an den Beinen...): Man kann den Spiegel nicht mehr schließen, wenn man den Rasierer am Strom anschließt, um sich zu sehen oder man tritt nach rechts und blockiert den Gang.

Die Möglichkeit zur Nutzung des iConcierge auf dem iPhone entdecken wir zu spät. Wir laden uns die App herunter, um sie eine Woche später vielleicht auf der NORWEGIAN SUN zu nutzen, aber das geht nicht.
