Somehow I was surprised: Looked like my holder of my Garmin-GPS device... Did not Gudjon know the way... He laughed when I asked: there is also an aviation version of Garmin available!!!
Was mich stutzig macht: Das ist der Halter für mein Garmin-Navi... Kennt sich Gudjon etwa nicht aus... Er lacht bei der Frage: es gibt nämlich den Garmin auch für Flugzeuge!!!Frances möchte noch ein paar Bilder...

And here you could see very well how far the lava flowed.
Gudjon nimmt nicht den direkten Weg zurück, sondern fliegt mit uns eine Schleife, damit wir noch etwas von Reykjavik sehen. Gudjon did not use the direct way back but flew a loop that we could see some of Reykjavik.We should be here the day before: Then we might have the best pictures of the NORWEGIAN SUN.
Gestern hätten wir hier sein sollen: Dann hätten wir wohl die besten Aufnahmen von der NORWEGIAN SUN gehabt.Interessant: wir müssen wie ein Flugzeug einfliegen... und zum Glück sind wir da, da 4 GB sind voll... Ich muss dringendst an meinen Rechner, um die SD-Karte auszutauschen...
Interesting: we had to fly in like a plane... and we were glad to be back as 4 GB were full... I need urgently to see my PC to replace the SC-memory card... Das war einfach spitze!!! Können wir nur jedem empfehlen, der in Reykjavik ist, diese Tour oder eine andere Tour mit dem Hubschrauber mit unseren Freunden von Nordurflug zu machen. Ich weiss, dass es nicht billig ist, aber manchmal ist weniger mehr!
That was just the hit!!! We can only recommend everyone who is in Reykjavik to do this or another tour by helicopter with our friends from Nordurflug. I know it is not cheap, but sometimes less is more.Just in case you can select your pilot: Gudjon B. Sigurjonsson. He was really great. By the way, he was optimistic that we could be lucky to see the Northern Lights tonight in Keflavik area.
Für den Fall, dass man sich den Piloten aussuchen kann: Gudjon B. Sigurjonsson. Der war richtig gut. Übrigens meinte er, dass wir vielleicht Glück haben und in Keflavik heute Abend gut die Nordlichter sehen können.Er empfiehlt uns noch folgenden schönen Beitrag, der nur wenige Tage vor unserem Besuch veröffentlicht wurde und zeigt, dass ein australisches Paar, das allerdings nicht mit dem Kreuzfahrtschiff unterwegs war, schon sehr viel Glück hatte und die Nordlichter gesehen hat.
