Of course I wanted to see how MY NORWEGIAN SUN arrived. But I missed her almost because everyone told that it was just around the corner... only 10 miles... in 10 minutes to reach... I wanted to go to Gourock. But that was about 25 miles away... So I suspended my journey and looked for a corner where I could take pictures of her arrival... And there she came...

I should not come earlier... It was a little too dark. Minutes decided if you get good or bad pictures.

Somehow I liked it very much how MY NORWEGIAN SUN sailed here through Scottland.

I was wondering if the Captain already identified me as the crazy one who missed the ship in Reykjavik again?

Nobody on the balconies who waved to me... Were Phyllis and Ken still sleeping?

and especially none from our balcony (it would be very surprising to find some subtenants in our cabins...)

Elena said that she was jogging on Deck 6... but I could not see her on this picture...

It looked that we had luck with the weather... sky became clearer.

I started a race with MY NORWEGIAN SUN, and so I could get some more great pictures before she docked in Greenock.

I asked another shipspotter to take a picture of me and MY NORWEGIAN SUN.

Then she started to turn for me around before she docked.

Here my currently favorite shot was taken which I also gave one to the Captain. He liked it too.

Let me check like the CIA was doing...

Breakfast on the open deck... my hunger took me back to my hotel. Although I need to see our safe in our cabin. But I did not want to wait so long, and the authorities release the ship

The breakfast in a Holiday Inn Express is never a big excitement. But it was good that we only pay 5.00 GBP for the overnight parking as residential guests and could come and go as we want. So after breakfast, we went for Stirling, Scotland.

First we went to a cemetery.

Erst mal auf einen Friedhof.

Because you had a nice view to the castle.

All the buses which came from our ship.

There was an excellent observation point.

Es gibt einen schönen Aussichtspunkt.

That looked interesting... we need to see a little closer...

And in the rear you could see the foothill of the Highlands...

Da ist er wieder... Kaffee klingt gut...

There he was again... coffee sounded great...

And here he was again finally: in a former hospital and the today's John Cowane's Coffee-House.

We did not want to sit outside and they only told: you could also sit inside. Here we found a big surprise...

Here Bruno got his cappucino...

Hier bekommt Bruno seinen Cappucino...

Und Frances ihren Scone Nummer 2. Nur Clotted Cream hatten sie nicht. Dafür selbstgemachte Marmelade... (1 Scone = 140 kcal... 1 Portion Clotted Cream = 225 kcal...)...

And Frances had her Scone No. 2. But they had not clotted cream. But homemade jam... (1 scone = 140 kcal... 1 portion of clotted cream = 225 kcal...)... Only for the records: Bruno and I had none!!!

By the way: the salty version of scones are called in the USA biscuits (biscuits and gravy...).

He we learned that they were homemade... Frances would like to take them all home...

We drove over the parking of Stirling Castle because we caught the wrong way. An oldtimer show. But we did not want to go inside.
